Best Halal Food in Connecticut

My taste buds got a Lebanese passport and are never coming home. Let me set the scene: I walked into Anthony and Villa of Lebanon thinking I’d be having a light dinner. We have been going to the original location for years and tried this new location last night. The food quality is the same. The spicy chicken is like nothing I’ve ever had- absolutely incredible. We ordered the platter for 2 and had plenty to spare. Presentation, variety and flavor is amazing. We also got 2 desserts. Service is great, location is clean and it’s great to see the family continue to succeed. Highly recommend for delicious and healthy Mediterranean food!

Fantastic food and consistent. Fresh ingredients always and every Lebanese dish is prepared and plated with perfection. They have the best whipped hummus I have ever had and their chicken shawarma, both spicy and not, is the best. Top it off with freshly baked desserts and gracious hosts that make you feel at home.

We tried the VIP Platter for Two with spicy chicken and lamb, and it was excellent! The portions were generous, and everything was packed with flavor. The falafel was crispy, the baba ganoush and hummus were creamy and delicious, and the warm pita tied it all together. The spicy chicken had a great kick, and the lamb was tender and well-seasoned. Overall, a great spot for fresh and tasty Lebanese food. We’ll definitely be back!

We saw this restaurant at The Big E and it was so amazing that we came back... The owner is an amazing man and served us with love! The portion sizes are amazing with leftovers! We are vegetarian and the Falafel was spectacular! Will be back! Do not forget Baklava!!!!
